Nadia & Giri Wedding: Love, Tradition, and a Celebration Beyond the Times

Let’s rewind a little — to those final days of the pandemic, when Nadia & Giri said “I do.”

No, we’re not here to bring back the worries or the uncertainty of that time. We just want to remind you.. love always finds a way. And it always shows up right on time.

Nadia & Giri’s wedding was held with a limited guest list and in full compliance with health protocols  -even though the pandemic was already nearing its end- but that didn’t take away from the warmth and joy of their celebration.

Dressed in elegant all-white attire, Nadia and Giri exchanged vows in a heartfelt akad nikah ceremony. For the reception, they embraced the rich Minang tradition, complete with the vibrant and meaningful Tari Persembahan, welcomed the guests, each movement carrying blessings and meaning.

Under the soft glow of the reception lights, they appeared in shades of serene blue. Giri in a finely tailored traditional suit with shimmering songket, Nadia in an intricate kebaya and gleaming songket skirt, crowned with a magnificent sunting. Together, they were the picture of heritage meeting forever.

Congratulations, Nadia & Giri. May your journey be as warm as the smiles you shared that day, as beautiful as the traditions you embraced, and as timeless as the vows you made. Our prayers are with you for a lifetime filled with love, joy, and endless blessings.

Love,

"Exquisite Elegance: A Magnificent Pedang Pora Wedding Ceremony" - Fahmi & Yuni's Wedding

We still remember our first meeting with Fahmi and Yuni. At that time, they didn't ask many questions about our portfolio. Instead, they chatted as if we were family. Not long after that, they requested a second meeting and immediately discussed their pre-wedding theme. Just like the first meeting, the second meeting went very smoothly and was enjoyable.

Yuni and Fahmi held their wedding ceremony using two traditions: Sundanese for the solemnization (akad) and Minangkabau (Padang) for the reception.

The solemnization was filled with emotion. Although it wasn't carried out with a complete Sundanese ceremony, it did not diminish the value of their Sundanese tradition.

For the reception, it began with the Pedang Pora ceremony because Fahmi is a police officer. It was followed by various traditional dances from the Padang region, each laden with meaning and messages.

The entire event was conducted with great reverence, joy, and grandeur.

We are very grateful to have been able to participate in their wedding ceremony.
